Pumpkin Patch

This morning we headed out to Heavenly Harvest Farm for a pumpkin for Jadon. Actually, they have all kinds of fun Fall stuff for kids (and adults) to do. So anyways, the three of us took the hayride down to the pumpkin patch and picked a pumpkin for Jadon. Jadon also did the duck races, although he had no idea what was going on, and just sucked his fingers. It was really busy, so he was distracted by all the people and kids around him. His favorite part was the hay bale maze..... we were actually really surprised, but he took off in that maze like a test rat!

Anyways, we got there at about 11am, had to wait in line for awhile just to get our tickets for the events.... then we did the duck races. Then we got in line for the hayride and pumpkin picking, and waited for what seemed like forever. Finally at almost noon, it was our turn! Jadon just about fell asleep on the hayride! It was his lunchtime, and getting close to nap time! He's such a good boy though and didn't put up a fuss once! After we finished the hayride, we put our pumpkin in the car and headed over to do the hay bale maze. Then we thought that Jadon might like to watch the corn cannon, so we went over near that. It scared Jadon to death though, and he had a pouty bottom lip for several minutes afterwards! Then we decided we should head home to eat lunch and nap. We were there for almost 2 hours though, and probably would've stayed longer and done more things if it hadnt been so late. By the time we left, the parking lot was jam packed! Jadon and I are supposed to go there again on tuesday for a playdate, so maybe then we will do the cornmaze!

We had alot of fun for only $8!! Can't wait to take Jadon back next year when he's a little older!
