So with Fathers day coming up shortly, I thought id take the time to brag about my husband and why I love him so much. WARNING: Sappy content ahead!
Derek is my best friend. He means the world to me, and then some! He is loving and caring. He's honest and trustworthy. He thinks im beautiful, even at my very worst. He loves me unconditionally. He always trys to make me smile and laugh. He still opens every door for me, even after almost 9 years! He makes me feel special. He takes the garbage out every week without me having to ask him to. He's handsome and kind and loves Jadon to pieces. He's sweet, thoughful, romantic, goofy, hilarious, wonderful and amazing. He works hard to make our relationship top priority, he even does a marital devotional with me every night. Not many men would be willing to do that!
I wish that everyone could be as blessed in their marriages as I am. I don't know what I could have ever done to deserve someone as wonderful and perfect for me as him, but I am so thankful that we found each other and that we get to spend the rest of our lives and eternity together.
When I was pregnant with Jadon, I would often think about how lucky Jadon was already to be entering into a family where his mommy and daddy love each other so much, and strive to keep their relationship strong. Not many kids these days can say that they dont come from a broken family, and I take pride in knowing that Jadon will never have to say he's from a broken family.
