It's been awhile! It's like they say, time flies when you're having fun! 😊
Anyways, I came across an article that I thought was fantastic and so true! People have such derogatory things to say when you have more than 2 kids, especially when your first 2 are a boy and a girl. Things like, it's perfect, you have one of each so now you can stop. My neurologist even tried to convince me to only have 2 kids, like having three was just completely nuts... Afterall, it works perfectly with 2... One kid for each parent.... You fit in the booths at restaurants.... Etc.
also, people thinks it's crazy to have another child when your oldest ones are pretty much self sufficient now. "It's like starting all over now! With diapers, sleepless nights, crying, etc"
Well I knew exactly what I was getting into. And I would not ever change it. I love having a baby in the house again. Even with the diapers and blowouts. Even with not being able to keep up with house cleaning, even with having no time for "me", even though I spend a good portion of my day in the glider feeding Carter or rocking him while he sleeps.
I love seeing my bigger kuds doting on the baby. I never figured Jadon would be very interested in a baby, but he loves holding him! He loves trying to get him to laugh and smile and play with him. Yes, Carter is one lucky kid to have 2 big siblings who absolutely adore him! (They even want another one!)
Yes there is no doubt in my mind that Carter was meant for our family, even if he is 6 years younger than his big sister and 8.5 years younger than his big brother.
